About the Author
SUSAN and CLAY GRIFFITH are a husband and wife team who have written the original "Vampire Empire" fantasy series for Pyr Books, as well as the tie-in "Crown & Key" series for Random House. They've written numerous short stories for anthologies, some featuring noted genre characters such as Kolchak the Night Stalker and The Phantom, and have scripted comics including The Tick, The Simpsons, and Vincent Price Presents. the dialogue for the characters is fun and believable

I haven't finished reading yet, but I really appreciate how the author(s) incorporated Iris into the story, which is something the show can take notes on. She's shown doing her job, helping Barry, having a girls' night with Caitlin, etc.
Aside from that, the dialogue for the characters is fun and believable, and I think the plot is interesting enough to be an actual episode of the show!

This was a great book. I could not put it down. Since I watch the show it felt like I was watching an episode. I could imagine everything it was written beautifully I would recommend it to everyone.

the SHOW feels like the cash-grab

I cannot speak highly enough about this book! When I first heard about it, I thought it was some cash-grab book, but once I read it, the SHOW feels like the cash-grab. I don't think the characters have been more themselves than they were in this book, and I am straight GRATEFUL for the thought the authors put into their work. It's incredible, and it's so much fun!
